Anubhuti Prashala is English medium non aided school basically for lower middle and middle class. Boom of private English medium school was noticed all over the Maharashtra around 2005.
Initially the schools doing experiments in education were visited, as all school were of Marathi medium they were agrhai about matribhashen shikshnam.but in 2007 away from mainstream in Chandrapur nobody could have believed in mother tongue education this concept
Our view was clear about English medium and sure about arenas where we can work innovatively.
Compared to the Govt sponsored education, it was costly and ‘Selective’ as everyone cannot pay the fees.
Every year there has been tremendous rise in fees.
As schooling became THE BUSINESS. It follows all business models input- output, cost and volume base.
What about lower middle class? Where they have to go for quality education.
It began with an idea of Low Cost School.
Cost was reduced at various levels e.g. number of books, number of uniform; shoes and workbook etc. were reduced, and was considered as ‘Intruder of education’.
Only government prescribed subjects and books are used by the school. Beside, Instead of using books of moral education and computer, these subjects are taught practically.
Activity base education is given to students like experience of Pathology lab, Bank, Railway station, Bus depot, Govt hospital, Police station and Post office visit.
Broke the relationship between need of high infrastructure and quality based education.
We believe the strong fortress of ‘status symbol ‘built in post globalised India are creating elimination of poor class from quality education .In post globalised world economic status has got acceptance preceding caste and religion, so now access to education is not caste or religion specific, it has become more of income dependent. inclusive education can only bring down the walls of different economic groups to enhance social mixing .Our classroom vibrates, jumps or learns with students from all sections of society.
Our schools fees have given access to all income groups by providing fees slab.
